Located in Historic Downtown Fredericksburg at 525 Caroline Street, Fredericksburg Square has 19,000 square feet of possibilities. Originally constructed as a townhome in 1854 with only a few previous owners, the building has been a private residence, a private club, and an expensive event center.

In December 2021, a new ownership team purchased the property, eager to open this grand old building to the public so everyone can have an opportunity to experience one of the most beautiful spaces in town. Fredericksburg Square is home to Water’s End Brewery, whose vision is to offer a friendly, casual, fresh beer experience. The Fredericksburg Square kitchen serves Fredericksburg Flagships like chicken sandwiches and wings. In addition to being open to the public Wednesday through Sunday, Fredericksburg Square also offers private event space rentals and catering with two beautiful ballrooms to choose from.
